(I) Application Scenarios for Centrifugal Air Compressor

1.Large-Scale Industrial Scenarios in Chemicals, Petroleum, and Power Industries

In large-scale industrial fields such as chemicals, petroleum, and power, production processes are typically characterized by large scale and continuous operation, requiring substantial volumes of compressed air. These industries rely on large amounts of compressed air to drive various heavy machinery, sustain chemical reactions, and facilitate material transportation and separation processes. The high air delivery capacity of centrifugal air compressors perfectly meets the production demands of these large-scale industrial applications. For example, in large petrochemical production facilities, processes ranging from crude oil refining and cracking to the synthesis of various chemical products all depend on a steady supply of compressed air. Centrifugal air compressors can provide ample compressed air for these processes, ensuring efficient and stable operation. Their powerful air delivery capability can meet the simultaneous air demands of multiple processes, and through reasonable multi-stage configurations, they can also supply compressed air at different pressure levels to meet the requirements of various process stages.

2.Scenarios Requiring Extremely High Air Purity

In industries with stringent air purity requirements, such as semiconductor manufacturing and aerospace, even trace amounts of lubricant contamination or other impurities can severely impact product quality. Centrifugal air compressors have a unique advantage in this regard, as their exhaust air is free from oil contamination, delivering high-quality compressed air. In semiconductor manufacturing, ultra-pure compressed air is used in various stages, including wafer cleaning, etching, and photolithography. Any minor impurities can lead to chip defects, affecting performance and yield. Thanks to their specialized design and working principle, centrifugal air compressors effectively filter and remove airborne contaminants and oil, ensuring that the compressed air supplied meets the highest purity standards required by these high-end industries.

3. Scenarios with Stable Air Demand

For production processes with relatively stable air demand and minimal fluctuations in flow and pressure, centrifugal air compressors are an ideal choice due to their high efficiency and stable performance under steady operating conditions. For instance, in the compressed air systems of large power plants, generators require a continuous and stable supply of compressed air to support auxiliary equipment such as cylinder drives and valve controls. Given the continuous and stable nature of power generation, the air demand remains relatively constant. Centrifugal air compressors can fully leverage their high-efficiency operation under such conditions, providing a stable and reliable supply of compressed air over extended periods, ensuring the overall efficiency and safety of the power plant. Additionally, the high-capacity air delivery of centrifugal air compressors can meet the simultaneous air demands of multiple pieces of equipment, reducing frequent starts and stops, thereby enhancing system reliability and cost-effectiveness.

(II) Application Scenarios for Screw Air Compressors

1.Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs) and Small Industrial Scenarios

For many SMEs and small industrial settings with relatively low air demand, the air delivery capacity of a single screw air compressor is typically sufficient. For example, in machine shops, various pneumatic tools such as drills and grinders require a certain pressure and flow of compressed air for operation. Screw air compressors can provide a stable air supply for these tools, ensuring smooth machining processes. Moreover, screw air compressors are compact and easy to install, which is particularly important for SMEs with limited workshop space. They can be flexibly positioned within the workshop without requiring the large space or dedicated rooms needed for centrifugal compressors, reducing layout costs and space utilization challenges.

2.Scenarios with Fluctuating Air Demand

The superior regulation performance of screw air compressors makes them excel in scenarios with significant air demand fluctuations. Take the food processing industry as an example: different production stages, such as raw material processing, mixing, and packaging, require varying amounts of compressed air. During peak production periods, large volumes of compressed air are needed to power various equipment, while demand drops significantly during off-peak periods. Screw air compressors can flexibly adjust air delivery in response to real-time demand, quickly adapting to load changes. This flexible regulation not only ensures continuous and stable production but also reduces energy consumption, avoiding waste during low-demand periods and improving overall production efficiency and economic benefits.

3.Medium- to Low-Pressure Compressed Air Demand Scenarios

In applications with modest pressure requirements, such as air conditioning systems, pneumatic tools, and small pneumatic conveying systems, screw air compressors can provide compressed air economically and efficiently. For instance, compressors in air conditioning systems require a certain pressure of compressed air for refrigeration cycles, and screw air compressors can deliver stable, medium-to-low-pressure air to meet operational needs. Similarly, pneumatic tools generally operate within medium-to-low pressure ranges, and screw air compressors can supply suitable air sources to ensure proper functionality and efficiency. In small pneumatic conveying systems, such as those transporting grains or plastic pellets, the required air pressure is relatively low. Screw air compressors, with their strong performance in medium-to-low-pressure conditions, can efficiently handle material transportation tasks while offering advantages such as low operating costs and easy maintenance.

4.Scenarios Requiring High Maintenance Convenience

For enterprises lacking specialized maintenance personnel, the simplicity of screw air compressor operation and maintenance makes them the preferred choice. Daily operation of screw air compressors is intuitive and easy to learn, with basic training enabling general operators to master essential functions such as startup, shutdown, and air delivery adjustment. In terms of maintenance, due to their fewer components and compact structure, routine tasks mainly involve replacing wear parts like air filters and lubricating oil, along with basic operational checks. Unlike centrifugal compressors, they do not require complex disassembly or precision adjustments. Additionally, screw air compressors can operate unattended, equipped with automated control systems that monitor operational parameters in real time and trigger alerts for anomalies, prompting timely intervention. This high level of automation and maintenance convenience significantly reduces upkeep costs and management complexity, improving equipment efficiency and reliability—making them particularly suitable for businesses prioritizing ease of maintenance.
